Feeding Guide

Parrots eat approximately 9–15% of their body weight per day; for example, a cockatiel eats about 7–17 g per day. Psittacus Mini is formulated to make up 100% of the parrot's diet. Fresh fruit and vegetables may be added for variety, but Psittacus should remain at least 70–80% of the total diet. Do not add vitamin or mineral supplements to birds fed mainly on Psittacus. Always ensure fresh, clean water is available.

Transitioning Instructions

Begin by mixing 75% of the current food with 25% of the new dog/cat food for the first 3–4 days. Gradually adjust the ratio to 50% current food and 50% new food for the next 3–4 days. Then, mix 25% current food with 75% new food for another 3–4 days. Transition to 100% new dog/cat food. Ensure a gradual change over 10–14 days to prevent digestive upset. Always provide fresh water, and monitor your pet’s health and appetite during the transition
