Benefits

The Omega Formula was designed to make up 100% of the parrot's diet, other foods can be provided, especially fresh fruit and vegetables. However, it is recommended that the percentage of Omega Formula is not less than 70-80% of the total daily consumption. It is not advisable to give any type of vitamin or mineral supplement to parrots if the parrot's basic diet consists of the Omega Formula, as it already contains the necessary amount.

Feeding Guide

Adequate intake should be between 5 and 8% of the weight of the animal. For example, a species of average size consumes daily about 25 and 40 grams. This dosage always also depends on the activity and condition of the animal.

Transitioning Instructions

Begin by mixing 75% of the current food with 25% of the new dog/cat food for the first 3–4 days. Gradually adjust the ratio to 50% current food and 50% new food for the next 3–4 days. Then, mix 25% current food with 75% new food for another 3–4 days. Transition to 100% new dog/cat food. Ensure a gradual change over 10–14 days to prevent digestive upset. Always provide fresh water, and monitor your pet’s health and appetite during the transition
