Feeding Guide

For cats weighing 2.3–4.1 kg (5–9 lb): ⅓–⅔ cup (about 35–70 g) dry food only, or ¼–⅓ cup dry + 85–170 g canned food per day For cats weighing 4.5–6.4 kg (10–14 lb): ⅔–¾ cup (about 70–80 g) dry food only, or ⅓–½ cup dry + 170–225 g canned food per day Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz (237 ml) measuring cup and are averages; adjust as necessary to maintain an ideal body condition. Cats are nibblers who enjoy small meals throughout the day, so keep a bowl of dry food available at all times. Pregnant and nursing cats may require 2–4 times their normal feeding. When changing food, mix gradually over 7–10 days. Always provide fresh, clean water.

Transitioning Instructions

Begin by mixing 75% of the current food with 25% of the new dog/cat food for the first 3–4 days. Gradually adjust the ratio to 50% current food and 50% new food for the next 3–4 days. Then, mix 25% current food with 75% new food for another 3–4 days. Transition to 100% new dog/cat food. Ensure a gradual change over 10–14 days to prevent digestive upset. Always provide fresh water, and monitor your pet’s health and appetite during the transition
